LOCAL AREA
Located in Charente Maritime, the second sunniest region in France, Fontdouce is in a totally secluded position, yet only minutes from Cozes the nearest small town. The whole area is famous for its vineyards, sunflowers and oysters. Many lovely small towns are located on the Gironde estuary, which is famous for its Cockleshell heroes of World War II.
